The popular musical tells the story of Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals), a young welder who dances in a bar at night and dreams of going to conservatory. A naive story with Cinderella parameters (an orphaned protagonist, a deus ex machina in the form of the rich and attractive Nick), it still manages to enchant today with a charge of headstrong youthful energy and, of course, central hits like "Flashdance - What a Feeling" and "Maniac"...
