This time, the pursuit of the cunning Fantomas brings Commissioner Juve, the journalist Fandor and his fiancée Helena to Rome, where an important scientific congress has been convened. The star of this congress is to be Professor Lefebvre, a scientist researching hypnosis. His discoveries are so groundbreaking that it is assumed that Fantomas will take an interest in the old scientist and see to his disappearance.
