It is the year 1961. Fallout shelters are springing up in the gardens of suburban homes. Ken is getting together with Barbie. Roger Maris has 61 home runs to his name. Elvis Presley finds himself in paradise, playing a former soldier returning home to Hawaii. His mother (Angela Lansbury) expects him to build a career, but Elvis would rather wear a Hawaiian shirt than a white collar, so he takes a job as a tour guide. And he’s in luck: his first clients are a group of attractive young women. Elvis, beautiful nature, even more beautiful girls, and “rock-a-hula” songs – that’s paradise!
