This parody musical is based on a familiar, but in this case deliberately lighthearted situation – a decent girl named Allison falls in love with a tough guy nicknamed Screamer (Johnny Depp). However, Allison's grandmother and her well-behaved but boring boyfriend prevent their feelings from blossoming fully. Fortunately, the two lovers manage to escape to a concert. However, a fight breaks out there and those involved in the brawl are arrested. To make matters worse, a girl arrives claiming that she is expecting Uřvánek's child. The film deliberately pokes fun at elements of retro musicals, unhappy love stories, and rock poses. There is also a thoughtful play on kitsch, whether it be the tragic backgrounds of both heroes, the visual stylization, or the songs themselves.
