Agent 007 (Pierce Brosnan) is captured during a secret mission between North and South Korea. The British have a Korean prisoner and offer him in exchange. Agent 007 immediately moves to London. He is challenged to a fencing match by billionaire Gustave Graves (Toby Stephens), who is almost unbeatable. Bond's mission continues to Cuba, where he meets Jinx (Halle Berry) and discovers that her perfect body also contains the rather perfect brain of a CIA agent. After some vicissitudes, James Bond makes his way to an ice palace in Iceland, where he finds colorful company. There's Graves, his aide Zaa (Rick Yune), a fake virgin, and Graves' assistant Miranda (Rosamund Pike). But most importantly, there's a weapon that could destroy the entire universe...
