Avatar opens before us an incredible world beyond our imagination, a world of clash between two completely different civilizations. The newly discovered distant planet Pandora is a peaceful place with a population of Na'vi living in harmony with the planet's wild vegetation. A crew sent from Earth on an exploratory mission discovers a very valuable mineral on Pandora that would be of incalculable value on Earth.

However, residence on Pandora is only possible for humans after the creation of their genetic double, a hybrid Avatar, which can be controlled by a psyche separate from the human body and physically matches the original inhabitants of Pandora, who have fluorescent blue skin and reach a height of 3m. Selected for this challenging mission is, among others, Jake Sully (Sam Wothington), a former Marine who was paralyzed from the waist down on one of his previous missions. It is the chance to walk again that prompts Jake to sign up for the Avatar program. A reconnaissance mission is sent out and upon landing on Pandora, he is completely amazed by the amazing diversity of the local vegetation. The trees reach the height of skyscrapers and the luminous forest is filled with beautiful creatures you've never seen before, as well as terrifying prehistoric predators.

That's just a grain of the surprise that awaits the crew. While it seems that after the initial distrust of the Na'vi people, the crew has managed to adapt and also gain space for a diplomatic mission, the Pandorians are certainly not going to be colonised and a fierce confrontation will ensue. Jake, who has gradually become close to the local population, and especially to the local princess Neytiri, is faced with the decision of who to fight for in the final battle that is to decide the fate and development of the entire world...
