Why Experience An American Werewolf in London in 4K Ultra HD Steelbook?

The 4K Ultra HD presentation paired with HDR (HDR10 / Dolby Vision) brings unbelievable depth, dark contrast, and visual clarity to the misty Yorkshire moors and bustling streets of London. Sourced from a native 4K scan, the transfer reveals astounding fine detail—from Rick Baker’s visceral makeup FX and decaying ghouls to the breathtaking, bone-snapping transformation sequence. Ink-like black levels emphasize the shadow-drenched nighttime terror. Furthermore, the remastered surround audio mix reproduces the hair-raising wolf howls and classic moon-themed soundtrack with razor-sharp dynamic power.

Beware the moon, boys, and stick to the road!

American college students David (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne) are backpacking across the gloomy English countryside. Stopping at a unwelcoming local pub called The Slaughtered Lamb, the locals give them a chilling warning: stay on the road and keep clear of the moors during the full moon. Disregarding the advice, the boys lose their way in the dark fog and are viciously attacked by a colossal beast. Jack is torn to pieces, while David survives with severe wounds. Waking up in a London hospital under the care of the lovely Nurse Alex (Jenny Agutter), David is visited by the rotting ghost of Jack, who delivers a terrifying message: David is now a werewolf, and when the moon turns full, he will transform into a monster...
