Danny Sharp (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a charismatic crook who is planning the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history and needs reliable partners. Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen) is his half-brother and a war veteran who needs an early cash infusion for his wife's demanding surgery. Even though Will knows that working with Danny smells like trouble, he can't be persuaded for long in a dead-end situation. Because Danny has the perfect plan that can't go wrong. Only it does, and the robbers find themselves trapped in the bank's underground garage, surrounded by an army of lawmen. The only escape route is an ambulance that's come for a badly injured policeman.
