His ordinary life is disrupted by an adventure in which he tries to save Princess Jasmine from the clutches of the evil magician Jafar. But Aladdin is not up to the difficult task alone - he has a magic lamp. Just wipe it and a ghost appears, who has a sense of humour and can change shapes. And so he grants a wish, too, when Aladdin wants to turn into a handsome prince to charm Jasmine.
The power of the lamp is also revealed by the evil Jafar and his caustic parrot Iago. They both wonder how they can take possession of it. Aladdin must prevail over them.
