This co-produced sci-fi horror film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo follows the successful 28 Days Later. It is set six months after a terrifying virus nearly wiped out the population of the UK. The army has now declared that it has successfully won the battle against the virus, so the refugees can return and begin rebuilding the country.
