After going through the rigors of high school (twice in a row), police officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenk (Channing Tatum) are about to undergo a big change - they're assigned undercover work at a local college. But as Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the sports team and Schmidt infiltrates the ranks of the art students, they slowly begin to question their relationship.
No longer tasked with just solving the case, they are forced to find out if there can be a common relationship between them on a level. If these two overgrown teenagers can work their way up from college freshmen to real men, then college could be the best thing that ever happened to them...
