TRANSFORMERS (2007)
Since practically time immemorial, a war has raged in the universe around us between two advanced alien civilizations, the "good" Autobots and the "evil" Decepticons. We've been shunned until now, but when these advanced mechanoids discover an energy source on Earth, the control of which could bring ultimate victory to one side or the other, our planet turns into hell on earth (or rather in space). We experience their invasion alongside a teenager named Sam (Shia LaBeouf), who has so far been plagued only by school, the lack of a proper ride and a girl named Mikaela (Megan Fox) who prefers his classmates. The moment the first news about the destructive robots appears on TV, he has one more problem. He is the one who unwittingly hides the key to that vital energy source, which is why he is entitled to the top spot on the endangered species list. Right behind him is the rest of our civilization...
TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE VANQUISHED (2009)
Teenager Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has recovered from his first encounter with the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons. What's more, he's grown up and started preparing to leave the family nest for the tumultuous college life. The only thing that spoils his mood is the fact that his relationship with the lovely Mikaela (Megan Fox) turns into a long-distance dating relationship because she doesn't have the money to go to university. Fortunately, the separation doesn't last long. When Sam discovers the shard of matter that the Autobots and Decepticons fought over so much in season one, and gets valuable information from it for both sides, mechanical goons from all over the galaxy start going after him. And there are plenty of them. According to gimmick specialists at ILM Studios, around 60 different robots will appear in the film. So Sam soon starts to burn the university ground beneath his feet, and accompanied by Mikalea, a loyal Autobot nicknamed Bumblebee who can transform into a souped-up Chevy, and unfortunately with the help of his parents, he flees from them...
TRANSFORMERS 3 (2011)
In the original, the third Transformers episode is subtitled "Dark Side of the Moon". It was here, years ago, that the crew of America's first lunar expedition, Apollo 11, discovered an alien spacecraft and wisely kept it to themselves, or rather, to the Secret Service. But according to the Autobots, who have twice managed to protect Earthlings from a devastating invasion by their evil rivals, the Decepticons, this was a crucial mistake. A mistake that could destroy our entire civilization if the Autobots don't help us again. In addition to the old familiar tin men, led by Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, their greatest human ally Sam (Shia LaBeouf), a young man battered by life and battles with robots, returns to the scene, wanting more than anything to finally start living a normal life. But the Decepticons have other plans. They've decided to destroy the entire city of Chicago, where Carly, Sam's new girlfriend, is based, and he must go to this city to try to save her. And just for the record, the entire human race...
TRANSFORMERS: EXTINCTION (2014)
Car mechanic Cade Yager (Walhberg) tries to support himself and his teenage daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) by fixing a lot of unroadworthy wrecks. He's failing miserably, but only until one wrecked truck turns out to be a Transformer, and the all-important Optimus Prime. Cade can hardly be happy about this, as America hasn't quite recovered from the battle between the "good" Autobots and the "evil" Decepticons that wiped out half of Chicago at the end of Episode Three. Four years later, all the representatives of that alien race are on the index, and elite scientific minds are trying to create Earth Transformers to more effectively counter similar threats. But we know from the past that the road to hell is usually paved with good intentions, and it will be no different in this case. But that doesn't worry Cade too much. For now. As the new human sidekick to the most famous of the Transformers, he's not only in the crosshairs of the American government, but he's being hunted by Optimus' compatriots. Into all of this, his daughter has fallen in love, which as a father, he certainly can't agree with. In addition to Wahlberg in the lead role, the fourth Transformers movie will bring another major new addition - Dinobots, which are mechanical creatures that look like prehistoric lizards. Welcome to the transformed Jurassic Park...
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT (2017)
Car mechanic Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) has a lot of experience with the Transformers, and despite the war, he teams up with the "enemy" Bumblebee. Their common goal is to find the reason why the Transformers have returned to Earth for centuries. The answer to this question may be provided by noted historian and perhaps the greatest theoretical expert on Transformers, Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), who believes that it is in the past that the key to ending the war and saving humanity can be found. The very disparate group is rounded out by a beautiful Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) and an orphaned teenager, Izabella (Isabella Moner), who has seen too much of the Transformers for her age. It and the moviegoers are treated to a story that takes place in a space-time span of several hundred years, on several continents. They'll learn what the stones at Stonehenge were really used for, and maybe they'll eventually find the lost Optimus Prime...
