But going back to the past is forbidden, not so people can't live out their fifteen minutes of fame or realize their American dream, but because these changes could alter the present and the future. That's why the U.S. government created the TEC, the Time Enforcement Corps.
And Max Walker (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is one of its top agents. And when he discovers that Senator Aaron McComb (Ron Silver), a candidate for the next U.S. President, is raising campaign cash by speculating on land decades before it's worth anything, he decides to act. Only the senator is more dangerous than he looks.
