The powerful witch Ravenna (Charlize Theron) has tricked her way into the good graces of the king of a prosperous and powerful empire, who soon makes her queen and then dies. But Ravenna, according to the prophecy of the magic mirror, is facing the happiness of her stepdaughter Snow White (Kristen Stewart) and an obsession with her own beauty that she would like to keep forever. Snow White's death would solve all her problems, but the girl has just escaped from her house arrest to the Dark Forest, from which no one has ever returned alive.
But the Queen needs to be sure, so she hires a brave hunter (Chris Hemsworth) who is tasked with tracking her down and bringing her back. His suicidal mission is complicated not only by the strange inhabitants who populate the forest, but also by the fact that Snow White is no ordinary girl. The hunter is not helped by the brave prince (Sam Claflin), who has had a soft spot for her since childhood, and especially by a group of seven dwarves, who, though not as cute as Prófa and Stydlín, are adept at wielding an axe and know that with Snow White they have a glimmer of hope of saving their darkened realm.
