The evil wizard Gargamel has created the Mischief, two mischievous creatures that seem to have fallen out of the Smurfs' eyes, in the hope that they can help him obtain the magical Smurf essence. But he soon discovers that he can't do without the Smurfette's help. She's the only one who knows the secret spell that turns the Misfits into real Smurfs. When Gargamel and the Mischiefs kidnap Smurfette to Paris, it's up to Papa Smurf, Mischief, Grumpy, and Handsome to reunite with their human friends, Patrick and Grace Winslow, and rescue their friend!
