French secret agent Josselin "Joss" Beaumont is sent to an African country to eliminate the dictator Njala. However, the political situation changes radically and the previously inconvenient dictator becomes an important figure for the French government. The secret service betrays Josse and the African government convicts him of preparing the assassination. After two years, Joss manages to escape and return to France, where he deliberately informs his former superiors that he will carry out his original mission and kill President Nyala, who has just arrived for an official state visit.
