If he gets angry, you won't like him. In civilian life, Bruce Banner is a sympathetic scientist with a fragile soul, in a state of rage, a mad monster who mindlessly destroys everything around him. The comic book world knows him as the Hulk. After five years, he returns to the screen, and the fact that it will be an extraordinary experience confirms his adjective "incredible". Destroying the devil within himself is the main scientific goal of Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), whose impressive mood swings are caused by extremely strong radiation exposure. Bruce doesn't revel in his extraordinary abilities; instead, he suffers from them as he survives outside civilization, voluntarily isolated from the love of his life, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), and her father, Army General Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt), who would like to use Bruce's abilities to benefit the American armed forces. While Bruce tries his best to remain calm, an enemy with similar abilities appears on the horizon, who in turn misses no opportunity to transform himself from a man of flesh and blood (Tim Roth) into a destructive creature called the Abomination. With no conventional weapons to counter its rampage, Bruce must face the ultimate challenge - to willingly renounce his own decent self, turn green with rage and take on the Abomination man-to-man, or rather monster-to-monster...
