After the fantastic discovery of millions of years old D.N.A., a group of ambitious scientists attempt to create a nature park with living prehistoric animals on a remote desert island. The project is backed by millionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), who, just before Jurassic Park opens to the public, invites his two grandchildren, a famous paleontologist and his girlfriend, and other experts to visit. Their quiet visit quickly turns into a nightmare after one of the employees steals dinosaur embryos in the hope of making a fat profit from a competitor. In order to easily escape the park, he disables the security systems and thus the electricity-powered fence enclosing the entire Jurassic Park. The dinosaurs are released into the wild and the battle between humans and the Mesozoic monsters begins...
The globally successful sequel to this hit film offers even more dinosaurs, more suspense and more breathtaking Academy Award®-nominated visual effects than its predecessor. It's been four years since the Jurassic Park disaster, and two opposing groups are locked in a race against time to decide the fate of the prehistoric inhabitants of a remote island...
Dr. Grant, a world-renowned paleontologist, continues to study dinosaurs. He has just succeeded in proving that velociraptors possessed high intelligence and the ability to communicate with each other. But he's trying to forget his harrowing personal encounters with prehistoric fauna. A dizzying financial offer from the Kirby's to fly over Isla Sorna (the former genetic background that was to continuously supply the living exhibits of a unique zoo called, Jurassic Park) causes him and his assistant to become their expert guides. But when the plane heads in for a landing, he realizes his mistake. The two - not-so-rich, divorced partners - have just lost their 14-year-old son on Isla Sorna and are determined to rescue him if they can. No doubt because they have no idea of the terrible danger and bloody adventure that awaits them. The former base of Jurassic Park is in ruins, but the dinosaurs are thriving and man is an unwelcome intruder.
