Greg Jebal (Ben Stiller) has a girlfriend, Pam (Teri Polo), whom he would like to propose to during a weekend visit to her parents' house. But there's a catch. First he has to ask Pam's father (Robert De Niro). And this distrustful cat lover and former CIA agent all rolled into one is not fond of his daughter's suitor at all. Murphy's Laws work reliably, and so all of Greg's attempts to gain his blessing are futile.

After a series of successful embarrassments, the young man becomes the king of losers and a complete pariah in the eyes of the whole family. The only exception is Pam. Although even she doesn't understand why she still loves this walking disaster...

Name: Meet the Fockers

Original name:  Meet the Fockers [USA, 2004]

Lenght: 115 minutes

Greg Jebal feels that winning over his fiancée Pam's family, and especially his uptight father Jack Byrnes, was the worst thing he ever did in his life. He also suspects that when he meets Jack's parents, it will be worse. For now, he is accepted into the family, but only conditionally. At first, everything seems to be running smoothly.

Jack brags about how he is raising his grandson Jack, whose parents are in Thailand for a long time, and enthusiastically shows Greg the specially modified motorhome they are taking to Florida to meet Greg's parents and arrange a wedding. They arrive at the Jebals' lavish home just as Greg's father Bernie is practicing capoeira in front of the house and his mother Roz is conducting sex therapy for the elderly in the den...

Name: Little Fockers

Original name:  Little Fockers [USA, 2010]

Lenght: 97 minutes

Are they finally getting closer? At least for the kids? The worst thing in Greg Jebal's life is his father-in-law, Jack Byrnes. He's gotten used to that in his time living with the daughter of a former elite Secret Service agent. The relationship of mutually tolerated tolerance has survived the dating phase, the wedding preparations, even the mutual meeting of Greg and his wife Pam's parents. In the third installment of the Jebals' comedic family chronicle, however, the Big Bang is about to happen. Greg finally wants to become the informal head of the family clan, which Jack understandably resists tooth and nail. A mid-life crisis has just knocked on the fuckers' door. Greg has discovered that being a nurse is not what makes him a star in the eyes of his five-year-old twins, and he's not making as much money as the family budget needs.

So he starts moonlighting at a pharmaceutical company after work, which wakes the radar of his suspicious father-in-law, especially when he discovers that Greg's supervisor there is more than adorable. It's not just suspicions of infidelity that inflame the climate of a gigantic family reunion, held in honor of the little Jebals' fifth birthday party. Invited to the party is Pam's ex-boyfriend Kevin, Jack's great favourite, who decides to reawaken former passions, despite the wedding ring on Pam's finger. In the sultry atmosphere, Greg finally decides to show the whole world, and especially his father-in-law, that he is the true head of the family, but the means he chooses to do so create a chain of disastrously comic situations that will not strengthen his authority.
