The IMF (Impossible Missions Force) is gradually being dismantled by the mythical Syndicate, a nation of thugs and contract killers. The IMF is about to be disbanded, but Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) won't let that happen. So he assembles a team to face the toughest mission of their lives so far. They must prove that the Syndicate exists and ultimately destroy it by any means necessary. But the odds are more than zero!
