It would be the perfect action crime comedy about two cops and a big partner, except for one little thing: our main characters aren't cops at all. In fact, buddies Justin and Ryan got into the law enforcement business kind of illegally by dressing up in cop costumes and going to a party. But on the way to the party, they quickly discovered that the police uniform offers other interesting possibilities.
They could go out on the street and get a few people to go crazy, confiscate a joint from the youngsters, get a free drink or, more successfully, pick up girls. And so, alongside their civilian lives, in which Justin develops a new computer game about cops and Ryan mostly hangs out, they start to have a great time living the life of fake cops. And they're getting better at it.
After all, all they have to do is buy a junked police car on eBay and a few other gadgets, like a walkie-talkie, to get to people who need police help in time. But once these brand-new "heroes" get tangled up in a web of real cops, mobsters and corrupt detectives, they have to put more than their fake badges on the line. And so begins a very interesting and humorous cat and mouse game that may go over the heads of our "cops"... if that head stays on their neck...
